2026 Appalachian Clogging - January & February

Learn Appalachian clogging, percussive dancing to the driving rhythms of old time music. This country cousin to tap is a great way to have fun while exercising! It’s a uniquely American dance which has Celtic, African and Cherokee roots that go way back in Southern Appalachia. Suitable for teens & adults, instruction is by Peggy Leiby.

• 6757 Greene Street, Phila., in the West Mt. Airy neighborhood.
• Enter on Westview Ave.
• Summit has an excellent wooden dance floor.
  

Cost

The cost is $10 or $8 each if you pay for 3 dates in advance.
