Whoop it up with FiddleKicks! FiddleKicks brings Appalachian clogging to life with a whoop and a holler! Performed to the driving rhythms of live old-time music, this uniquely American dance form celebrates the convergence of Celtic, African and Cherokee cultures in southern Appalachia. Additionally, FiddleKicks performs a variety of other traditional percussive dance forms, creating a lively and entertaining multi-cultural experience. Videos!!
including MiNDtv: A World of Dance in Philadelphia February 2025 FiddleKicks is one of our favorite groups to perform at Historic Whitesbog Village! They always bring down the house, and get audience members up and dancing with them. We look forward to hosting them again! (from email received from JW, Stage Manager.) April 2024 FiddleKicks presented a varied and wonderful introduction to the world of Appalachian music and dance (with a bit of Morris, Cape Breton and English wood shoe thorwn in), and patrons loved it! Biggest program attendance I've had in quite awhile and I heard nothing but positive comments for weeks afterwards. (Adult services and Technology Librarian at the William Jeanes Memorial Library December 2021 I have heard many, many positive comments about your dancing. People really liked it.
