Whoop it up with FiddleKicks!
FiddleKicks brings Appalachian clogging to life
with a whoop and a holler! Performed to the driving rhythms of
live old-time music, this uniquely American dance form celebrates
the convergence of Celtic, African and Cherokee cultures in southern
Appalachia.
Additionally, FiddleKicks performs a variety of
other traditional percussive dance forms, creating a lively and
entertaining multi-cultural experience.

feedback:
April 2024 FiddleKicks presented a varied and wonderful introduction to the world of Appalachian music and dance (with a bit of Morris, Cape Breton and English wood shoe thorwn in), and patrons loved it! Biggest program attendance I've had in quite awhile and I heard nothing but positive comments for weeks afterwards. (Adult services and Technology Librarian at the William Jeanes Memorial Library
December 2021 I have heard many, many positive comments about your dancing. People really liked it. One person said it was the best presentation at a meeting since she joined 6 years ago. (A board member of The Outdoor Gardeners of Chestnut Hill)
June 2016 As I made my rounds after the event, I heard nothing but great comments about the band and dancers!! (The presenter at The Strawberry Festival at Haldeman Mansion)
