2026 Appalachian Clogging Classes

Learn Appalachian clogging, percussive dancing to the driving rhythms of old time music. This country cousin to tap is a great way to have fun while exercising! It’s a uniquely American dance which has Celtic, African and Cherokee roots that go way back in Southern Appalachia. Suitable for teens & adults, instruction is by Peggy Leiby.

Basics to Beyond the Basics, you choose your timing:

• 11:00am - 11:30am: Basics level taught - newcomers are always welcome
• 11:30am - 12:00pm: Basics & Beyond the Basics - everyone dances together
• 12:30pm - 1:00: Beyond the Basics - where footwork is at a higher level

With a real nice wooden floor, the classes are held in my barn near Ambler, PA. The location information will be provided by email.

Cost

$5 - $10 sliding scale.
